Ben Roethlisberger Expresses His Faith

Big Ben Roethlisberger is growing and forging strong families every day. The former two-time Superbowl winning quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers is on a mission. His journey is to bring as many families together as he can. Roethlisberger created his foundation so he can work alongside likeminded people.

“It has always been my dream to bring people closer to God and strengthen them while they make their journey,” said Roethlisberger.

Roethlisberger retired after 18 seasons in the NFL with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has spoken about his faith on many occasions. When he was in town with Tony Dungy, they spoke at Eden Prairie’s Grace Church about the “Arise With the Guys” men’s only service. Ben Roethlisberger spoke openly about his faith and Godly values.

During the event, Dungy noted how much Roethlisberger has grown and matured in his faith over the years. Both men stressed how winning in life is not all about how many Superbowl rings you win or how many passes you complete.

“It’s all about serving the Lord. A lot of times, I thought my accomplishments were all about my talent. It took a while for me to realize that God had a lot to do with my successes in life,” said Roethlisberger.

Ben Roethlisberger admits that he actually put his religion on the backburner during his college and pro years. He also admitted that some athletes can be a bit superstitious and he was the same. As his faith grew, he became more aware of how much religion played a role in his life.

Ben Roethlisberger has two young sons. He says he it is his goal to help fathers and sons bond strong relationships. He says men should not be afraid to show their feelings or be vulnerable. Ben has a strong testimony. More can be found on his foundation website as bigben7.com. Read this article for additional information.
