If you love football and live in Boston then it’s very likely you know who Robert Kraft is. He’s the owner of the New England Patriots, an NFL football team that has won seven Super Bowls. The Patriots are arguably one of, if not THE best team in American football. If you’re a fan of professional football you should give Robert Kraft some thought as you read his bio below.

Robert Kraft is a successful athlete and businessman who knows how to make money and have fun at the same time. He has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Boston University and is a past member of the board of directors for New England Patriots Charities. Kraft mostly keeps to himself. He has only made one public appearance, when he was named as a finalist for the Walter Byers Award at the Super Bowl XXII MVP Awards Ceremony on January 31, 1988.

Kraft is also involved in other non-football business ventures. He has acted as a spokesman for the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, which provides grants to keep America’s national parks open and to protect the nation’s natural resources.

Robert Kraft loves Boston sports teams (the Celtics and the Bruins are rivals) and is known to be very close with Red Sox owner John Henry. He attends many of the games at Fenway Park, watching from his luxury box.

Robert Kraft was part of the $20 million deal to buy the Boston Patriots in 1988. He is now worth an estimated $1.3 billion dollars and is the president of The Kraft Group. His company owns an entertainment division that includes a partial ownership in the New England Sports Network and International Management Group, a football agency based out of Los Angeles.

He, along with Kraft Group, purchased Foxboro Stadium in a deal that was valued at $220 million dollars back in 2002. See this page for more information.
