Some of its main functions include asset management, acting as a middleman for private clients and managing wealth for their customers.

Supporting arts

Mirabaud  can be generally referred to as a patronage of the arts. As a way of celebrating the 200th anniversary, they started supporting the arts. This banking firm developed the Geneva Museum of Modern Art, the FIAC Hors les Murs, Quartier, and Nuit des Bains, and the Zurich Art Weekend. They have made the arts accessible to many by making entry free for everyone to visit. Their connection between them and Paris has been firmly guided by creation, planning, and architecture.

They have boosted FIAC Hors les Murs, which presents sculptures in Paris public spaces. In 2019, they donated the Engadine collection, referred to as the moon, to Geneva. This monument decorates Plaine de Plainpalais in the city centre. Their frontage has now been transformed into a painting for a piece by Swiss artist Emilie Ding, How High You Can Count. This is a colorful tribute to musician Pauline Oliveros, the founder of the notion of “Deep Listening.”

Their support for the arts has brought diversity and a broad view of world history. Mirabaud has been able to bring together many artists, such as Marina Abramovic, Anroine Roegiers, Fabien Marti, Omar Ba Olafur, Thomas Ruff, among others.

They believed in promoting acts of activity, creativity, and innovation. Other notable contributions is that it brought Swiss hedge funds and has sponsored the longest Regatta Bol d’Or Mirabaud.
